Jobs, Skills & Impact Working Group

The Jobs, Skills & Impact Working Group focuses on issues that pertain to Europe's greatest resource: its people. The future of Europe and its industries depends on the workforce of today and tomorrow.

The Jobs, Skills & Impact Working Group is currently addressing four aspects related to labour force and education issues:

  • Reforms for a healthier and more robust labour market based on best practices, and in particular, policy proposals to address the problem of youth unemployment.
  • Education Initiatives supported by ERT Member companies to close the skills gap by changing the dynamics in cooperation with education providers
  • Identification of bottlenecks and ways to smoothen labour mobility in Europe
  • Women in leadership positions: keep track of status and progress of the number of women on supervisory boards.
